We look back. Step by step.

10 years of NetPeppers.

What began in 2016 with a clear idea has grown into a comprehensive offering for professional network technology. Over the past ten years, NetPeppers has evolved from individual measurement solutions into a holistic portfolio for modern networks. Fiber optics, Wi-Fi and copper. Hardware and software. Built on technologies that must prove themselves in real-world use, not just in a catalog.

This development was no coincidence. It is based on strong partnerships. On manufacturers who deliver reliable products. On resellers and distributors who successfully bring these solutions to market. And on our role in shaping these elements into a coherent, practical overall portfolio. Bundled, distributed and expanded wherever the market requires dedicated solutions.

Today, NetPeppers covers the key areas of network testing and measurement. Not with a single device, but with a well-structured portfolio and a service approach that goes beyond the product itself.
This anniversary is therefore more than a look back. It is a thank you. For trust, for collaboration and for many shared projects over the past ten years.

In the following, we take you on a journey through our company history. Year by year. Step by step.

2016. Everything begins with an idea. And a pinch of pepper.
2017. Learning, adapting, building our own solutions.

2016. Everything begins with an idea. And a pinch of pepper.

NetPeppers was founded in August 2016 by Silvia Nebel and Korbinian Meier. However, things only really started to gain momentum towards the end of the year. Before that, one central question dominated. What do you call a company that distributes products from the world of data network technology?

The claim came quickly. For Better Networks.
The name took longer. The decisive idea finally emerged during a business trip. Networks, technology and a small dose of sharpness. That became NET-PEPPERS. The name fit. The logo with the integrated Ethernet symbol followed. The foundation was set.

Content-wise, the start was pragmatic from day one. The first product line came from Oscium, including the WiPry 500. Webinars quickly became the most important communication channel. At the same time, dealer structures were established, initial discussions with distributors began and shortly after that the contract with Klein Tools was signed. Later on, Ekahau was added for Austria and Switzerland.

And of course, the website could not be missing. Netpeppers.com went live at the end of 2016.

2016 was not a loud launch, but a deliberately set beginning. An idea turned into structure. Conversations turned into partnerships. A name turned into a brand.

2017. Learning, adapting, building our own solutions.

2017 revolved around one key question. How do you successfully introduce a US company to the German market? Using the example of Klein Tools, it quickly became clear that this was not just about language. The products were high quality, without question. But they were designed for a different working environment. Larger tools, different applications, tool belts as a standard. Logical in the US. Less common in German trade practice.

We realized that having good products is not enough. They also need to fit the market. And that is where the real work began. Many conversations, a lot of feedback and numerous adjustments. Not everything worked perfectly right away, but this process created a genuine understanding of local requirements.

An important milestone was our first joint trade fair appearance at Eltefa in Stuttgart. Together with Klein Tools. With the VDV Ranger, which measures cable length, we celebrated our first tangible successes there.

At the same time, something else became very clear in another area. Entering fiber optic testing was unnecessarily complex for many electricians. Existing solutions were expensive, complicated and often oversized. So we asked a simple question. Why?

In 2017, this led to an idea that still shapes us today. An own fiber optic product line from NetPeppers. Practical. Affordable. Designed for everyday use. In the same year, the first NetPeppers optical loss testers were successfully launched on the market.

Looking back, 2017 was a year of learning. From the market, from the trade and from understanding when it is time to take responsibility for your own solutions.
