User-friendly and modern platform

The concept of the OTDR 1000 is based on a powerful platform. Only 28 seconds start time and lightning-fast response of the 8" capacitive touch display ensure frustration-free and time-saving operation, without getting loud by active cooling. 

The simple structure of the user interface, in which every function of the OTDR 1000 is only a click away, ensures intuitive operation without mechanical buttons. The large battery guarantees a runtime of a whole day and the memory for recording hundreds of measurement results avoids the continuous transfer of reports for reasons of space. 

 

The Inner Values are What Counts

With the most common wavelengths for single (1310/1550 nm) and multimode (850/1300 nm), you are prepared for anything. A dynamic range of up to 38 dB (Quad 1310 nm) also enables the measurement of longer distances and ensures a noise-free measurement curve. Due to the low attenuation and event dead zones, the OTDR1000 is also particularly suitable for short fiber optic links in the in-house sector.

The APC measurement port effectively reduces unwanted ghosting effects and trailling at the start of the fiber.

LinkImage

LinkImage enables the simplified display of the OTDR trace in a virtual route display - ideal for beginners or for handing over to the client.

Microscope Functionality

Support for the optionally available WFM50 fiber optic microscope enables a direct switch from OTDR measurement to the microscope surface and thus an uninterrupted, efficient workflow.

The images can be saved as a PDF report.

Automatic Launch Fiber Detection

No more worrying about blanking your fiber - simply select whether a leading and/or trailing launch fiber is present.

The OTDR1000 automatically subtracts the fibers to evaluate the actual measurement section.
